Disturbance is a series of eight geometries that utilizes the zellige technique of Tetouan (crafted with Tefaline clay from Tetouan) assembled with resin and fiberglass. Although the geometry appears regular, the work explores a series of subtle alterations.
The series progressively reveals how small permutations in the pattern frequencies—invisible at first glance—destabilize the geometric order. The visual narrative advances through four phases: moving from absolute order to a horizontal alteration, then to a vertical one, culminating in a total perturbation of the pattern.

The complexity intensifies in the glazes, which contain high concentrations of copper and manganese oxide. This provides them with a striking duality: in the shadows, they appear almost black, but under light, they reveal complex greenish and metallic tones.
