MUSAIC Pentagram Tarara is a musical itinerary located in a golf close to a Mediterranean beach. This installation is in fact a series of luminous musical scores composed of metal structures in the form of a pentagram on which are inserted geometric resin pieces taking up the basic shapes of Andalusian Zellige, while replacing the different notes of the musical score.

Since music is omnipresent in the Mediterranean culture, I opted for “Tarara” a song that is part of the Moroccan Andalusian musical heritage having Sephardic or Mozarabic origins, which has passed through time at the hands of Jews, Christians and Muslims. This song has been sung across the Mediterranean in different languages since time immemorial, like the geometric mosaics, which have been represented in all cultures of the Mediterranean and beyond.
